Playing the game

Your towers, enemies, score, and current run are held in your browser’s memory. We do not upload a saved game or require a game account. Leaving or refreshing the game clears the current run.

Optional analytics

With your permission, this site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit and how the game is played. Measurements include game starts, waves reached, difficulty, final scores, and whether a run was won or lost, along with general browser, device, and approximate-location information collected by Google.

The Google Analytics tag is blocked until you choose “Allow analytics.” Declining does not affect the game. Google Analytics advertising features and Google signals are disabled. Your analytics choice is separate from Google’s advertising consent choices. We do not send names, email addresses, or the contents of a saved game as custom analytics events.

Cookies and browser storage

When analytics is available, we remember your choice in this browser’s local storage. If you allow analytics, Google can use first-party analytics cookies to recognize visits. You can change your choice here or clear it using your browser’s site-data controls.

Turning analytics off stops future tracking through our integration and clears accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site. It does not erase measurements already sent to Google. Your browser may also cache the game’s files so they load faster.

Website delivery

The hosting provider processes network information, such as IP addresses and request details, to serve and protect the website. These delivery and security functions are separate from our optional analytics.

Advertising

Deskbound uses Google AdSense on its information pages to help support the free game. Ads depend on Google’s approval and availability. Any advertising on the game page is placed below the game, separated from its controls.

Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and device identifiers to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and personalize advertising where permitted by your choices. Google’s consent message lets visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland consent, decline, or manage advertising purposes and partners. You can also manage Google’s ad personalization in My Ad Center. We do not load advertising code when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or when you disable advertising here. Disabling advertising is remembered in this browser and stops future loads after the page refreshes; it does not delete information already sent to Google or its partners. You can also clear advertising cookies in your browser’s site-data settings.
